| | Comments (0) |

The Denver Nuggets ended the Lakers' nine-game winning streak today at Staples Center, handing them only their second loss in 19 games since the All-Star break. The Lakers also fell to 2 1/2 games behind the conference- and league-leading San Antonio Spurs. Kobe Bryant scored 28 points and Lamar Odom had 17. Pau Gasol scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, but also tweaked his right knee in a fall and is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Monday. The Lakers had 20 turnovers, which sent them to their first defeat in almost a month. Danilo Gallinari scored 22 points for the Nuggets.
