Chris Duhon remains game-time decision against Clippers

Despite saying days earlier that he will “definitely” play, Lakers reserve guard Chris Duhon remains a game-time decision tonight against the Clippers because of back spasms.

Duhon has missed the past 3 1/2 practices and the Lakers’ 103-99 loss Tuesday to the Philadelphia 76ers because of back spasms that began lingering near the halfway point of Sunday’s practice. Duhon also sat out of Friday’s morning shootaround.

“He’s better,” Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni said of Duhon, who’s averaged 4.1 points on 42.7 percent shooting and 3.7 assists.

Duhon’s rehab entails icing, stretching his hips and performing core exercises.
