Jordan Hill describes right ankle as “all right”

Despite suffering a right ankle sprain that kept him out for most of the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 107-102 loss Friday to the Clippers, Lakers forward Jordan Hill described the ankle as “all right.”

Hill also said afterwards he’ll be able to practice today and play Sunday against the Denver Nuggets.

“The ankle is not bad,” Hill said. “My energy is not too bad. We just have to keep a watch on it.”

Hill favored his ankle with 10:12 left in the fourth quarter, and soon went to the Lakers’ locker room. Although he soon returned to the bench, Hill didn’t come back in the game.

“I could’ve gone out there,” Hill said. “When you’re on the floor, it’s an adrenaline rush so I wouldn’t have felt it. I’ll be good.”

Hill has also played while monitoring back problems and a right wrist injury.

“You get used to it,” Hill said, “and keep fighting with it.”
