It’s possible the Lakers will have to add another player to their injured list.
His availability for the Lakers’ game tonight against the Phoenix Suns will hinge on the MRI results later today surrounding his sore right foot. It’s currently unclear what led to Clark’s injury, but it was serious enough for him to miss Tuesday’s morning shootaround.
Clark has served as a lone bright spot in otherwise dreary Lakers season. He has posted double digit performances in 14 of the 19 games since appearing in the team’s regular rotation. As a starter, Clark has averaged 11.6 points and 8.8 rebounds in 33.7 minutes through 16 games.
