Dwight Howard amused by Orlando Magic’s “Forget You” parody

Dwight Howard kept snickering.

This time it had nothing to do with teasing a reporter, playing a practical joke on a teammate or viewing a funny tweet. This time, it had everything to do with a video parody of Cee Lo’s “Forget You,” an Orlando Sentinel produced video that features crudely animated Magic players mocking Howard’s return for the first time since Orlando traded him this offseason to the Lakers.

“I guess our brand new arena wasn’t enough and I’m like, ‘Forget you and the Lakers too,’ ” sang a cartoon image of Jameer Nelson. “Although there’s pain in my chest, I still the wish you the best…forget you.”

Before the Lakers’ 90-81 win Sunday over the Chicago Bulls, Howard eagerly showed reporters the video on his iPad Mini. The Lakers center also complimented the video creator and singer

“It was hilarious,” Howard said. “But people are going to do whatever they want to do. People are going to say whatever they want to say. I’m here with the Lakers now. That’s the past.
