Antawn Jamison said right wrist “is killing me”

Lakers forward Antawn Jamison let out a sigh of resignation.

He couldn’t help but give an honest answer when asked about the severity of his sprained right wrist.

“It’s killing me,” Jamison admitted before the Lakers play tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center.

Still, Jamison said he will keep playing and figure out how to adjust playing with the wrist. Ever since spraining the wrist, Jamison has averaged 10 points on 40 percent shooting in 20.6 minutes. He conceded having difficulty bending back his wrist when he wears the brace to support it.

“Some days are better than others,” Jamison said. Some days, it’s easier to play with, but I can’t go back.”
