Steve Nash definitely out against the Clippers

Lakers guard Steve Nash definitely won’t play against the Clippers today in a designated road game at Staples Center because of persisting hip and hamstring soreness.

The Lakers also remain uncertain whether Nash will play Tuesday against New Orleans, though he’s officially listed as day-to-day.

Nash has sat out the past two games and had missed significant portions in two other games. Steve Blake will start for the third consecutive game. He’s averaged 10.6 points in the past three games, though he committed four turnovers in the Lakers’ win Friday over the Memphis Grizzlies.
