After multiple reports pinned Dwight Howard as going to the Houston Rockets, his camp informed the Lakers that he hasn’t decided yet where he will play next season.

When will Howard decide?

“Soon,” a league source familiar with the discussions said.

The Lakers sounded surprised that Howard planned to meet with general manager Mitch Kupchak after taking a flight from Aspen, Colo. to Los Angeles.

“That’s news to Mitch,” said a Lakers source. “He hasn’t shared any of these plans.”
