Kobe Bryant has progressed enough in his rehab surrounding his left Achilles tendon that he can shoot in a pop a shot arcade game. So well that he drained 89 points recently at Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, showing that his prolific scoring hasn’t lost a touch. Yet, that still wasn’t enough to win the game. A fan apparently scored more than Bryant, prompting the Lakers star jokingly to address him with an expletive in the video below.
Bryant normally wins at things and obviously doesn’t take well to losing, even in a harmless arcade basketball game. But this is hardly the first time this has happened. Bryant lost to “Ricardo the Busboy” three years ago on Jimmy Kimmel Live despite making every one of his shot attempts.
Bryant’s marksmanship proved on the mark this time around, too, but it still wasn’t enough. Nonetheless, it’s an encouraging sign both surrounding Bryant’s rehab and fan confidence that they could actually win in a shooting contest with the Lakers star.
