Lakers individual game tickets go on sale Sept. 7

For those wanting to a see a once storied franchise scrap its way toward franchise contention, Lakers’ individual game tickets will go on sale Sept. 7 beginning at 10 a.m.

That may not excite as many fans clamoring to see if the Lakers can use their financial flexibility to acquire a high-priced free agent for next season. But considering the Lakers still dominate the Los Angeles sports landscape, it’s a safe bet plenty will flood Ticketmaster and flood 1-800-4NBATIX with calls clamoring for tickets.

The Lakers estimate 1,000 individual tickets will be available for each home game, though they won’t be available to buy at the Staples Center box office. The marquee games include the Lakers’ season opener Oct. 29 and March 6 against the Clippers, Christmas Day game against the Miami Heat, Dwight Howard’s return Feb. 19 against the Houston Rockets and the arch rival Boston Celtics on Feb. 21.
