As soon as the doors opened to the Lakers’ practice facility, Pau Gasol stood on the court shooting free throws while donning a Lakers practice jersey.

But will he still wear the uniform when the Lakers host the Denver Nuggets tonight at Staples Center?

The Lakers remain in negotiations with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are eager to ship Andrew Bynum before his $12 million contract becomes guaranteed by Jan. 10. But the Lakers are looking for assets beyond the chance to save nearly $20 million in luxury taxes.

“It concerns everybody and it’s things you’ve got to play through,” Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni said, “but it’s things you can’t worry about.”

Gasol didn’t speak to reporters after shootaround and, as of, now still plans to start at power forward. The only change to the lineup will entail Wesley Johnson replacing Nick Young in the starting lineup, marking the Lakers’ 19th different starting lineup in 34 games.
