Lakers trail 52-46 at halftime to Bulls

The Lakers trail 54-46 at halftime to the Chicago Bulls at Staples Center, thanks to a healthy dose of Chris Kaman (14 points) and Steve Nash (six).

Both teams dressed only nine players because of a flurry of injuries. Chicago didn’t play Carlos Boozer (calf injury) and have a long-term injury to Derrick Rose. The Lakers are without six players, including Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Nick Young, Jodie Meeks, Jordan Farmar and Xavier Henry.

Bulls forward and former USC product Taj Gabson led Chicago with 16 points.
