Xavier Henry completes second D-League rehab appearance

In what marked perhaps one of the final steps toward rehabbing his injured right knee, Xavier Henry scored 19 points in his second appearance with the D-Fenders on Saturday in the Lakers’ Development League affiliate’s 137-126 overtime loss to the Texas Legends.

The Lakers put Henry on a rehab assignment this week with the D-Fenders in hopes that would aid his recovery considering the team’s reduced practice scheduled stemmed from travel and resting an injury-laden roster. After suffering a bone bruise and abnormality in the lateral meniscus of his right knee, Henry could return Monday when the Lakers (20-39) visit the Portland Trail Blazers (41-18) at the Rose Garden.

If the lakers knew how set a pick and stay until the lakers ball handlers rub or actually use the set picks and the lakers ball handlers knew how rub or wait for the pick to be set the offense would have options and the defense would have to work on the defending the lakers offense
