Kobe Bryant remains a perfectionist by nature, hoping to unearth every little nuance that could give him an edge.
As he has stayed sidelined for most of this season because of a fractured left knee, Bryant has stayed remarkably patient so that he could return and become the player who once dominated on the court. When Bryant dazzled everyone with his acrobatic shots and amazing athleticism, he complemented those skills with superior fundamentals so he could stand the test of time.
But to see Bryant build a piano essentially from scratch? In his recent Foot Locker commercial touting the Nike’s Kobe 9 shoes, Bryant shows what he would have been like as a craftsman. He shows the same focus and tenacity that’s made him so successful on the court.
