Jordan Farmar “pretty confident” he returns to the Lakers

Jordan Farmar said he’s “pretty confident” he will return to the Lakers. Among the highlights

-Even though he’s confident, Farmar is mindful that is a “business.” He said that Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak said his future hinges on who they draft, who else is available in free agency and what offers he receives

-Farmar wore his two NBA championship rings to illustrate his value and his priorities.

-Farmar: “Kobe is Kobe and doesn’t change. He’s one of the strongest minded people I’ve been around and one of the guys who wont take no for an answer.”

-Farmar downplayed Bryant’s refusal to be around the team and said it wasn’t an issue.

-Farmar said it’s “not fair at all” pertaining to the criticism Mike D’Antoni received. He also disputed recent suggestions that his fast-paced offense contributed to some of the injuries.

-Farmar also said that big men should like D’Antoni’s system because it allows them to get open dunks off pick and rolls.
