Kobe Bryant appears in World Cup commercial for Panini

In order to perfect his craft, Kobe Bryant placed a high premium on shooting, foot work and fundamentals.

But these tenets have not just served Bryant well on the basketball court, where he has won five NBA championships and cemented a fourth-place standing on the league’s all-time scoring list. It also proved instrumental in Bryant performing relatively well in soccer during his childhood in Italy.

Hence, it should serve as no surprise that Bryant filmed a commercial to promote the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with Pinani, a trading card collectible company. The Lakers star showcases all the skills needed to excel on the pitch, his precise dribbling, passing and shooting representing the attention to detail and perfection he puts onto the hardwood.
