Despite nursing flu symptoms for the past two days, Lakers forward Jordan Hill is expected to play in Friday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder (12-13) at Staples Center.

“If he can play, he’ll start tonight,” Lakers coach Byron Scott said following morning shootaround. “I don’t know how much he’s got. He’s at home right now in the bed. We’ll see how he looks when he gets there.”

Hill sat out for practices both on Wednesday and Thursday, and has taken antibiotics. Hill also skipped morning shootaround on Friday after visiting with Lakers’ head athletic trainer Gary Vitti. Hill has averaged 12.8 points on 48.9 percent shooting and 8.6 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game.
