Amid a year in which he fought endless adversity, Lakers forward Nick Young finally experienced something to keep him smiling.
He became engaged with his girlfriend Iggy Azalea, a well-known hip hop artist and model.
“She said yes,” Young announced on his Instagram page. “It’s over man. I’m getting married!”
Young turned 30 on Monday, and used his big day to make it an even bigger one by popping the question to Azalea. The two started dating after meeting on Twitter in 2013. They have often appeared together at various red carpet events.
Young has also strongly defended Azalea amid various criticism, the sources ranging from rapper Snoop Dogg, ESPN anchor Robert Flores and the tabloids.
