It seemed the news would offer another devastating blow to the Lakers and another reminder on how their training room has become crowded in recent seasons. Instead, the Lakers offered some encouraging news that Jordan Clarkson’s soreness in his right shoulder is considered normal, according to his MRI.
The Lakers will still treat Clarkson conservatively and possibly sit him out of Saturday’s practice. The Lakers also listed Clarkson’s status as questionable for the season opener against Minnesota on Wednesday against Staples Center. But in Friday’s show on Time Warner Cable Access SportsNet, host Chris McGee, analyst Dave Miller and I believe Clarkson can get through his latest injury.
