The injury woes continued for the Los Angeles Lakers as the organization announced shortly after Saturday practice that guard/forward Anthony Brown would miss at least four weeks after an MRI revealed a stress reaction in his right foot.

Brown, a rookie out of Stanford, started for the Lakers on Friday, who were already short handed with Kobe Bryant (shoulder), Jordan Clarkson (knee) and Lou Williams (hamstring) out with injuries. Brown started alongside Nick Young in place of Clarkson and Bryant, scoring seven points in just over 35 minutes.

Should neither Clarkson, Bryant or Williams return to the lineup on Sunday when Los Angeles hosts the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers would be down to three true guards on the roster in D’Angelo Russell, Nick Young and Marcelo Huertas.

Brown started 11 games this season, played in 29, averaging four points per game.
