East Long Beach murder suicide under investigation

LONG BEACH -- Police were investigating a possible murder suicide in East Long Beach Thursday night.
Though no specifics were immediately available, Long Beach Police Department Sgt. Rico Fernandez confirmed officers and detectives were sent to a home located near Los Coyotes Diagonal and Iroquois Avenue regarding a murder suicide.
The neighborhood, typically a quiet one, was buzzing with police vehicles and helicopters at 5 p.m.
More information is expected later tonight.
