McWhorter another example of a fine shortstop

| | Comments (0)
Wyoming shortstop Daylan McWhorter had three put outs and came up with a run-saving play on a sharply hit ball David Stiling to end the first inning of play in the Northwest Regional semifinals. The game is scorless.

McWhorter had a tough time handling Stiling's ball but came up with it and threw him out. That saved a run because Chandler Whitney was on third and Mason Shaw was on second at the time.

TJ Johnson made a great dive for a ball hit by Shaw but when he hit the ground it popped out his glove and Shaw was aboard with a double.

Wyoming 0, Oregon 0
