Nevada ahead quickly, 2-0

Nevada scored twice in the first off Trevor Ling and a shaky Hawaii defense. Jesse Kaiser, Michael Blasko and Josh McCollum all had singles and Hawaii made one error and also failed to complete a sure double play.
