Blasko has added another home run – this a three-run, estimated-300-foot-shot to right field – to increase Nevada’s lead to 5-0. The ball sailed over the glove of a man standing 15 yards beyond the right-field fence.
Nevada leads Utah 2-0 in the third. Nevada scored twice in the third, on a solo home run by Michael Blasko and a sacrifice fly by Cadeyn Grenier.
Utah closed the gap to 4-2 on a two-run home run by Hunter Low in the third inning, but Hawaii scored five in the fifth, highlighted by Tanner Tokunaga’s two-run double. Hawaii is now ahead 9-2 entering the sixth.
