On the undercard, former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate (13-3) — whom Ronda Rousey beat for the title in March with a vicious armbar — pulled off her own impressive submission victory by getting Julie Kedzie (16-10) to tap out to an armbar at 3:28 of the third round.
Afterward, Tate predicted Rousey would defend her title and defeat Sarah Kaufman in the main event but added that she would enjoy every second of Rousey getting punched in the face. MEOW!!!
