Trailer: Seth Rogen in 'The Green Hornet'

In case you missed it, the slick looking trailer for The Green Hornet.

As nice as it looks, I admit some audiences may see this trailer and become exhausted with superhero comic book-based properties going to the movies.

Notice, I mentioned superheroes or masks.  If a film doesn't feature a mask it could be "A History of Violence" and no one would know it was from a graphic novel.  I think there's so much new hero stuff slated to hit the theaters it's starting to unfairly bias the audience against it.

Consider that last sentence a teaser for a bigger topic I hope to touch on at a later date. 

Anyway, Hornet star Seth Rogen happens to be appearing on the MacBook-filmed episode of Jimmy Kimmel tonight.

Quick backstory: The power went out during studio taping a day ago and Kimmel grabbed his MacBook and used it to shoot his show.

The Green Hornet opens January 2011.
