VIDEO: Batman gets arrested in Hollywood

Being a Hollywood Boulevard superhero doesn't pay much these days and the LAPD wants to make sure it stays that way.

This video clip of the caped crusader getting nabbed is from an NBC piece about officers cracking down on costume players expecting money from tourists for taking pictures with them. Officials say tips are acceptable but not on demand.

Not every cosplayer demands money for pics. One gentleman interviewed said a few suspected offenders are ruining things for everyone.

Batman player Tony Tomey was interviewed by camera crews only moments before he was cuffed.

The LAPD is "cracking down" on cosplayers? Well, gee, I'll sure sleep better at night knowing that those caped menaces to society are off the streets and those nice trigger-happy gangbangers are still free to roam.

Ha! Ha! That's just wrong, man!

IO know about these guys. I think if you take a picture with them a tip is not out of the question. but I have to say I still support them. I do have to say it quite funny.
