For fans anxiously awaiting the latest screen projects from writer Joss Whedon, 2012 may be a good year.
Just about everyone knows that Whedon, best known for his work on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," is helming Marvel's "Avengers" movie, due in theaters in May. But Whedon has also co-written the script for what appears to be yet another secluded cabin horror film (is that even a genre? If it isn't, it should be).
The flick is called "The Cabin In The Woods," naturally.
But take a look at the first trailer for this film, co-written and directed by Drew Goddard ("Cloverfield," "Lost"), and I believe, you may be surprised.
"The Cabin In The Woods" stars Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins and Whedon-alums Amy Acker and Fran Kranz ("Dollhouse"). It opens April 13, 2012.
