City receives $18,088 from Southern California Edison

| | Comments (0)
The city recently received an incentive check from Southern California
Edison in the amount of $18,088, for participating in its "Savings By
Design" Program.

The program encourages high performance,
nonresidential building design and construction to produce the most
energy-efficient and cost-effective buildings.

It was the Montclair City Council's vision to construct an energy-efficient
and environmentally responsible facility. That vision has been realized
through the efforts of WLC Architects and the design assistance offered
through the Savings By Design Program.

The Savings By Design Program is funded by California utility customers
and is administered by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, San Diego Gas
and Electric, Southern California Edison Company, Southern California
Gas Company, and Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
