Annual summer concert series
The City of Montclair will hold its annual Summer Concert Series in the park on Tuesday nights in July. All concerts are held from 7-8:30 p.m. at Alma Hofman Park (Shark Park), located at 5201 Benito Street, are presented free of charge and open to the public.
The community is invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic dinner to enjoy a fun evening in the park. Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Montclair Kiwanis Club. Concert schedule is as follows:
July 6- Remember Then (classic favorites)
July 13- The Cords (80's pop hits)
July 20- Seventh Inning Stretch (jazz/funk band)
July 27- The Ravelers (classic rock)
During these special nights in July the City's new Splash Pad at Alma Hofman Park will extend its regular hours and be open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. The special extended hours apply to July 6, 13, 20 and 27 only. Regular Splash Pad hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily.
