Sol Discover Wins Aren't Guaranteed

| | Comments (0) |

All of a sudden that "guaranteed" win May 10 against the Boston Breakers at Home Depot Center (fans get a free ticket to the June 3 Chicago Red Stars contest if the Sol triumph) isn't looking quite so certain.

In a battle of perhaps the two best strikers in the league, Kelly Smith scored the fastest goal in WPS history for Boston in the second minute to lead the Breakers to their 2-1 win over the Sol today; Marta did not find the target.

It's the first loss for the Sol so far this season.
