Chivas USA Update

| | Comments (0) |

Chivas USA made some player personnel moves Friday ahead of Saturday's derby against the Galaxy in Carson.

To wit:
*Defender Bobby Burling was removed from the disabled list. Burling, 24, went on the DL after undergoing sports hernia surgery March 5, less than two weeks before Chivas USA's season opener.

*Defender Claudio Suárez was added to the DL. Suárez, 40, suffered a right calf strain June 27 in Chivas USA's 1-1 draw with Mexican club San Luis; he'll now miss a minimum of six MLS games.

*Newly-acquired Canadian defender Kevin Harmse has received the necessary visas and could make his Chivas USA debut against his former team.

*In addition, former Mexican international Suárez and St. Kitts native Atiba Harris have received their green cards and are now considered "domestic" players by MLS.

Tickets start at $15 for the 8 p.m. game.
