Hallmark Gold Crown Store for 37 years.

Yucaipa - What's the secret to a long marriage when husband and wife run a business side-by-side? "Jack works the morning shift and opens up, and I work the afternoons and close," said Pat Sisemore with a smile hinting at the corners of her mouth.

For 37 years since October 1971, Jack and Pat Sisemore have owned and operated the Hallmark Gold Crown Store in Yucaipa. Amazingly after all those years of working so close together - and then going home together - they still get along.

Jack gives his wife most of the credit. "She deserves sainthood," said Jack. "I'm the more difficult of the two of us. I'm kind of a control freak."
