The lone robber entered the store at 16925 Randall Avenue about 2:15 a.m. and approached the 48-year-old cashier behind the counter, according to a Fontana police news release. He demanded money from the cash register and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect got into a black full-size, 4-door pickup truck and drove southbound on Sierra Avenue.

Two men entered Accelerated Staffing at 17606 Arrow Highway about 12:30 p.m. with handguns and demanded money, Fontana Sgt. Jeff Decker said.
A shooting broke out and multiple rounds were fired. An employee was one of the shooters, Decker said.
There were no reports of injuries and witnesses told police the men left in a blue minivan.
"There are no details of anything being taken yet but it's still being investigated," Decker said.
The robber came into the store about 4:15 p.m. Friday, pretended he had a weapon and demanded money from the cash register, according to a Fontana police news release.
After he got the cash, the robber ran away in an unknown direction.
A Fontana man facing six armed-robbery charges now faces two additional counts for holding up a fast food restaurant and a drug store in Highland.
John Richard Boynton Jr., 39, was charged Thursday with two second-degree robberies and special allegations that he used a handgun in the Jan. 15 robbery of McDonalds and the June 26 robbery of a CVS Pharmacy, according to a criminal complaint filed in San Bernardino Superior Court.
Authorities arrested Boynton last week and charged him with six armed robberies at banks, pharmacies, hotel gift shops, a video store and cleaners in Fontana, Ontario, Chino and Rialto.
After a two-month robbery spree, Chino police said they caught his image on a video surveillance camera at a bank holdup.
They identified him after scanning dozens of inmate booking photographs.
The robbers walked into the Chevron gas station at 16705 Merrill Ave. about 4:20 a.m., pointed a shotgun at the clerk and demanded all the money in the register, said Fontana police Sgt. Jeff Decker.
All three suspects are described as Latino men in their 20s. One acted as a lookout while the other two robbed the clerk.
Both are between 5-feet 7-inches and 5-feet 9-inches tall and weigh about 155 pounds. Both had brown eyes and brown hair and were wearing black shorts and blue bandanas.
When a woman being robbed threw her purse over a backyard fence Saturday night, the robber improvised by snatching her cell phone and fleeing, Fontana police said.
The woman arranged to meet the suspect on Summer Place south of W. Liberty Parkway to exchange gold for money, said Sgt. Jeff Decker. When the robber arrived, he pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at her and demanded cash.
The woman threw her purse - with the cash - in a nearby backyard. The robber then grabbed cell phones from the woman and her friend and ran, police said.
The robber is described as a Latino man, about 20-years-old and 6-feet tall and weighes 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a light blue beanie, short-sleeved blue T-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.

Fontana police responded to an armed robbery call at a bakery at 16110 Ceres Ave. Suite 102 at 10:11 p.m., according to a police news release.
The victims told police that robber entered the business armed with a kitchen knife and demanded money from the register.
He fled the business after he got the cash.
The suspect, identified as Hector Bravo Arellano, 29 of Fontana was later arrested.
The robbers, who wore white clothes to cover their faces, walked into Liquor Plus Thursday about 9:30 p.m., according to a Fontana police news release.
One of the robbers pointed a small, black handgun at the cashier and demanded money from the register, according to the news release. The group left the store at 13451 Baseline Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark-colored sedan.
The woman was out about 10:37 p.m. on June 2 at a Bank of America, 16860 Arrow Boulevard, when a man with a knife approached her, cut the lower right side of her back and took an undisclosed amount of money from her, according to a Fontana police news release.
The robber then ran west on Arrow Boulevard, according to the news release.

FONTANA - A man found naked in Fontana on Sunday told police he was picked up by robbers, held at gunpoint and forced to strip before he was dropped off.
Police received a report of an indecent exposure at the corner of Sierra and Jurupa avenues at 1:34 a.m.
The victim said he was at a Jack in the Box begging for a ride to Riverside when two men pulled up in a red GMC Safari minivan. They agreed to give him a ride.
Police said the driver began heading north, so the victim told them they were driving in the wrong direction. The passenger punched him in the face, police said.
The driver pulled behind an industrial building near the corner of Production and Santa Ana avenues. The men continued to beat the victim.
The victim told police he lost consciousness and woke up to find the robbers searching his pockets. The driver pulled out a handgun, ordered the victim to take off all his clothes except for his socks.
The men took the victim's clothing and drove away.
A man in a black hooded jacket walked into the Slover Street store at 3:11 a.m. and lifted his jacket to show the clerk a small revolver with wood handle grips, according to a Fontana police news release.
He demanded money from the clerk and then escaped in a late model brown Toyota Camry.
The robber is described as a white man, between the ages of 18 and 20, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was 6'3 tall and weighed 180 pounds.
The robber was wearing the black jacket, long white exercise shorts with a black stripe, a black baseball cap and long white socks with black sandals.

An armed robber tied up employees at an Auto Zone store and stole cash from the safe Tuesday, police said.
The robber, who had his face covered, walked into the store at 9531 Sierra Avenue at 5:15 a.m. No employees were injured in the holdup.
The robber is white or Latino, 5-feet-7 inches tall, 25 to 30-years-old and 170 pounds. He wore a gray sweater and blue jeans.
Two robbers stole the 49-year-old victim's wallet about 5:45 p.m. Monday on Sierra Avenue north of Merrill Avenue in Fontana, according to a police news release.
The wallet contained several credit cards and the man's identification.
Police did not have a description of the suspects.
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was walking home from a friend's house about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a Fontana police news release. As he approached Cypress and Upland Avenues, three men walked up and told him they were neighborhood gang members.
When the victim said he was not a part of the gang, the robbers hit him in the face and punched and kicked him several times, according to the news release. While he was on the ground, the robbers stole the victim's wallet and ran away.
Police said the victim, a 24-year-old Ontario resident, was walking to her car at 12:13 p.m. at 9773 Sierra Ave. when she saw a man drop a piece of jewelry. While trying to get the man's attention, another man approached and pointed a handgun at her.
He pushed her against her car and told her to give him everything she had, police said.
The woman handed over her money and the robbers fled the scene.
One of the robbers is in his 40s, 5-feet-4 inches tall, 140 pounds and has short black hair. He wore a light-colored trench coat and blue jeans. The second man is 6-feet-tall, heavy and has gray hair. He wore a light-colored tucked in shirt, jeans and a baseball cap. Both men are Latino.
