October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and stylists at the Salon Museum are using their skills to cut the effects of breast cancer through breast cancer research.

On Sunday, the Salon Museum will host a cut-a-thon that includes haircuts, manicures, waxing, chair massages and spray-on tanning with an opportunity to meet celebrity hairstylist Laurent DuFourg. Services will be available for minimum donations that will benefit breast cancer research and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Expedition Inspiration Fund for breast cancer research.

Salon Museum stylist and breast cancer survivor Anne Hughes said she is grateful to organizations such as the Salon Museum for raising funds for breast cancer research.
