New karate classes are being offered at the chino Valley YMCA for both boys and girls aged 6 to 14. The new class is offered on Tuesday and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The class emphasizes coordination, cooperation, concentration and respect. The program is designed to develop strong, respectful, confident and physically fit children. Registration is currently underway at the Chino Valley YMCA, 5665 Edison Avenue.

The Chino Valley YMCA offers a Hip Hop-Jazz Dance class for boys and girls ages 6 to 12 years old. All dance levels are welcome. Classes are one hour and include stretching, warm-up, Hip Hop and Jazz technique and freestyle. New music and choreography are taught each month by an instructor with over 10 years of experience in all forms of dance, including jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical and ballet. Students will get a great workout in a fun dance environment. Classes run montly on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is underway at the YMCA, 5665 Edison Ave.

The Chino Valley YMCA offers guitar lessons for both beginner and intermediate levels. Students ages 7 to 14 wil learn basic skills and exercises needed for success in guitar and music. Monthly classes are offered on Wednesdays at 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.
The Chino Valley YMCA offers before and after school care for children currently enrolled and attending first through 6th grade. The YMCA also offers afterschool childcare for children enrolled in morning kindergarten. Transportation is available to and from most of the Chno Valley Unified Schools.
Programs include homework time, arts and crafts, youth fitness, environmental educaiton, games, field trips and special program events.
