The city of Chino Hills will host a Valentine Tea Party from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the McCoy Equestrian Center on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Participants are encouraged to dress up in fancy apparel where they will enjoy snacks, play Valentine games, make arts and crafts projects, and make a special Valentine treat. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All ages are welcome.

The city hosted its annual Adopt a Family holiday program on Thursday night with about 73 families in need receiving donated money and presents from their wish lists.
Local businesses and families provided donations toward the event.
"The goal of the program is to provide a happy Christmas for families," said Christine Martinez, recreation supervisor at the McCoy Equestrian Center. "It takes a big burden off of families struggling this year."

A "Haunted Hike" hosted by the Chino Hills Recreation Department takes place on Friday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the McCoy Equestrian Center, 14280 Peyton Drive, Chino Hills.
The event, which also features Halloween themed crafts and a Sleepy Hollow movie, is open to the public and will feature clues along the hike all leading up to solving a mystery involving the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
The event is appropriate for all ages. Admission is $5.

The "Fall Fun Fest" All Breeds Horse Show, takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the McCoy Equestrian Center, 14280 Peyton Drive. The horse show is open to all breeds and ages of horses. The event offers Halter, Showmanshop, Walk-Trot, English and Western events.
The event is open to the public and free of charge for spectators. Registrations opens at 8 a.m. and the first competition starts at 9 a.m.
