INDUSTRY -- Deputies will hand out gift cards to anyone who will turn in a firearm this Friday and Saturday.
No questions asked.
Under the "Gift for Guns" program, a handgun is worth a $50 gift card while a rifle or shotgun is good for a $100 gift card to local businesses and supermarkets. An assault rifle will get you a $200 gift card.
The program will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday at the sheriff's Industry Station, 150 N. Hudson Ave. in Industry.
Put the unloaded weapons in the trunk of your vehicle.
