Just when it seemed the fire storm than had surrounded the California High School football program the past two weeks might be dwindling, the Condors took another hit this week when they learned they’d have to forfeit three victories for using an ineligible player.

There are several outstanding area rivalry games this weekend.

Heralds are legit

It’s still that little private school, as described by football coach Jon Caffrey, but contrary to the belief by many that Whittier Christian can’t play football, the Heralds, indeed, can play football.

Underdogs can win, too

A couple of things ...

The intense concentration on schedules and which is weak and which is
not, which prepares a team better for league play and which does not,
apparently tends to obscure several important facts.
