When considering individuals for all-anything teams, it is good to consider this:
Just as there will be in basketball, there will be Daily News all-area soccer teams as well.

The high school winter sports season is winding down and teams are vying for league championships and playoff berths.
La Mirada's 72-55 loss to Artesia Wednesday night did little to damage the Matadores claim to being the area's best boys basketball team this season.
