Yes, Haynes is a Swordsmen
The high school winter sports season is winding down and teams are vying for league championships and playoff berths.
Seems like there would be more than enough excitement to soothe the avid sports fan, but apparently not.
Four callers this week have iinquired/complained about the rumor that Aubrey Haynes, a running back from Diamond Ranch High School, has transferred to St. Paul.
A St. Paul spokesperson confirmed early this week that Haynes is enrolled at the school.
A little bit about young Mr. Haynes:
Hgt. 6-0; Wgt. 205; Class - Junior
2006 stats: 161 carries for 1,016 yards, 13 touchdowns. Averaged 6.31 ypc.
Hopefully, tthat is enough info to quell any further discussion about him, at least until football season.

TELL ST.PAUL TO PLAY SANTA FE IF YOUR SO CONFIDENT IL PUT MONEY ON SF. CAMERON OLIVER WILL RUN CIRCLES AROUND THAT DEFENSE AND THE ST PAUL DEFENSE WILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT.THE ONLY THING WE (SF)WOULD HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IS THE OFFENSE MAYBE NOT EVEN THAT WITH THAT CHOKE ARTIST PAUL LOPEZ AS A QB. SO PLAY US AND WELL SEE WHOS THE BEST IN THE AREA. WILL PLAY YOU AT THE PIT IF YOUD LIKE
MARKUS VIRAMONTES LB
Exactly what I have been talking about when it comes to Hiring St.Paul Coaches! DON'T DO IT! THEY STEAL KIDS FROM PUBLIC SCHOOLS ALL THE TIME. WE DO NOT WANT THIS AT MONTEBELLO! Please DO NOT HIRE A COACH WITH A CLOUD ABOVE THEM!
whats the news on the new coaching staff? do we have a clue yet
The anonymous blogger which thinks that Schurr will repeat or make a playoff run you my friend need to get a life. You can come talk to the St. Paul Fans when Schurr actually moves out of the weak league they are in let alone whatever division they are in which is 6 or 7. They are horrible. St. Paul is the always and will continue to be the powerhouse of this area. There is always talk about Schurr being the best or Santa Fe being the best in the area but if they played St. paul they would get demoralized by the swordsmen. This is why everyone refuses to play St. Paul and if they do accept the challenge they get what they asked for. For example Cantwell, El Rancho, Cal High, etc. etc. and all the sorry public school football teams around here. Ha ha I'm still laughing at you Schurr. You need to get your own field and stop playing on the oilers field.
Would you be kind enough to let us know who was on this years all opponent team?
The Swordsmen faced some really good teams this year and I'd very interested to see who they considered the best.
yes we do
Years ago the St. Paul football team would come up with an all opponents team. Do they still follow that tradition?
WELL LOOK HERE WE GO AGAIN PEOPLE ON THIS BLOG TALKING THERE $$$$...SCHURR WILL MAKE ANOTHER CIF RUN NEXT YEAR WITH THE TALENT THEY GOT....SO NOW ST PAUL THINKS THERE GOOD BECAUSE THEY GOT A RUNNING BACK WOW!!! GET A LIFE...
Schurr repeat? doubtful. they will probably make CIF simply because they are in a weak league, but i doubt they will go past quarterfinals.
That's great news for St. Paul fans more excitment added to their football team. We look forward to see what St. Paul does this year. I hope they represent our area as good as they did last year. We love football, all schools in the Whittier/Santa Fe Springs area we watch. We were really impressed with St. Paul. Good luck to all schools.
i dont know about going back to back. But, they will make the play-off schurr makes the play-off every year with average talented kids. schurr was not supposed to win it this year according to the papers and know it all bloggers. so let see what happens
schurr repeat!!!!! no way...the only quality player they have coming back is rudy jordan....all their other top players were seniors....i doubt they will even make the playoffs
That is what we needed a good back to help our strong defense which brings eight starters back.
do you think schurr will repeat another CIF tittle
It should be very exciting to see Mr. Haynes add his talents to St. Paul football. Great talent, great coaching and game calling and we got ourselves a football team. Were hoping for a great and exciting season like last year. Go Swordsmen.
The St. Paul family is excited to have another great addition to our football team. We have learned the hard way that one player does not make a team so we are excited for a great team player. Here we go St. Paul.
Wow, Great news for St. Paul. We love watching all area football teams this gives us something to look forward to. Hopefully they will have another successfull football season. Good Luck.
