Congrat's to Heralds, Highlanders

| | Comments (1) |

A tip of the hat to Whittier Christian girls basketball team and La Habra's boys soccer team.

The Heralds won the Division V-AA championship with a 40-28 victory over Village Christian.
The Highlanders defeated Saddleback, 2-1, to win the Division III championship.
Whittier Christian's victory should bring them a home game (just guessing) in the state playoffs that begin this week..

When you consider all area team and coach please consider WCHS. We are the smallest high school in the area, but the only one who had a team win a CIF basketball championship this year. Coach Crammer did a fantastic job as head coach of a girls Varsity team that had only 3 returners. Offensively Whitley Brown (12.1 ppg/9.5 rpg/2.7apg) led the team, followed by Elissa Ronquillo (10.2 ppg/5.6 rpg/2.7spg)whose defense stifled all opponents.
