Good softball available

Two of the area softball teams emerging as strong candidates for the upcoming Del Rio League title chase will be in action this afternoon, and then have the possibility of facing each other this evening..

La Serna will play Hacienda Heights Wilson and El Rancho will play Los Altos in the 1 p.m. semifinals of the Arroyo tournament at Whittier Narrows Park in South El Monte.
The winners of those games will meet for the championship, and the losers will play for third place, both games beginning at 7 p.m.
This should be a good chance to evaluate the potential of La Serna and El Rancho against quality opponents and fuel the fires of this blog's analysts.

"I know that a lot of the parents are really apprehensive right now, and my job is to come in and help Cal get through this. The program is set up well right now. We just want to get along with everybody in the (Del Rio) League."

He's already earned my respect!!

Yo, BIG RED;
El Rancho's new coach will be announced tomorrow. He isn't from St. Paul, but the Dons' administration is extremely happy about him.
The Dons' football future just became much brighter.

I heard El Rancho is going to pick there head coach today or thursday can you find out any info. I also heard it might be a coach from St Paul, but I don't want to say his name if he does not get the job. How about you El Rancho have you heard the samething. Jim Arnold was a asst coach at El Rancho and Cal before he became the head coach at Sunny Hills.
