Breaking News from the CIF-Southern Section Division III Finals at Downey High School.

Finals Score:
La Habra 2, Saddleback 1 F.

Congratulations to the La Habra boys soccer team on a tremendous victory today 2-1.

Edgar Bran scored the tying goal off a pass from Jonathan Prieto in the 43rd minute and then the game-winner on an incredible cross from Juan Estrada in the 65th minute. The defense, which gave up a PK in the 22nd minute, played exceptional in the second-half in shutting down the No. 1 ranked Roadrunners (25-3-1).

The win was the 10th postseason victory in a row for La Habra (26-4-1), which won its second straight title. Check out tomorrow's paper for more info.
