Boys Track, was Friday, June 20
Girls Track, Saturday, June 21
Baseball, Sunday, June 22
Softball, Monday, June 23
Boys Swimming, Tuesday, June 24
Girls Swimming, Wednesday, June 25
Boys Volleyball, Thursday, June 26
Boys Tennis, Friday, June 27
Boys and Girls Athletes of the Year, Sunday, June 29
And as usual .... all subject to change at a moment's notice.

wow, i have been waiting the whole summer for the pcitures of the boy's volleyball all-area team and so far NOTHING!!! I WOULD TRUELY APPRECIATE IT IF THEY WOULD PUT THEM UP

has the paper containing the list of the all area teams came out yet?
What a big pile of horse crap, the area player of the year was decided in the last week of leage, obviously Villalobos was the one who came out on top and yet he has gotten screwed both times when it came to deciding the league mvp and now the area mvp. Im cancelling my WDN subscription because im tired of this crap.
Where is the link for the All-Area Softball pictures? I only see the All-Area Girls Track and Field in the photo galleries.
I was hoping EL RANCHO’S CHRIS VILLALOBOS would have won the ALL AREA PLAYER OF THE YEAR. Villalobos had an astounding year, won league, and also possess tremendous raw talent. “CONGRATULATIONS SOTO!” Hope to hear more of your continue playing days, I’ am sure they will be full of more Congratulants.
This moring when I went to pick up the Sunday paper I was not prepared to see my son Victor on the front page as Player of The Year - WOW!- we have been truly Blessed this season at La Serna to have such a great new program, coaches, players and parents alike.
Victor played with a renewed attitude and enjoyment that was not there the last 2 seasons.
Thank you Coaches Gonzo & George, Victor not only believed in the program but he loved his sport once again, and it showed many many times over. You guys are Coaches of The Year in the La Serna parent's eyes.
Even though Victor will be moving on to another program and another school and we will be moving on to another state, our family will continue to "watch" the growth and accomplishments started in 2008 and keep the faith that La Serna Baseball will be the best program in the area.
Good Luck to all the returning players next season - Take the Del Rio League by storm, believe in yourselves, your coaches and win win win.
