No Aubrey Haynes on 605 roster ...
The final finalized rosters for the 41st Annual 605 All-Star Football Classic and St. Paul running back Aubrey Haynes' name is not listed.
A note from game administrator Rich Estrella infoms that Haynes has been deleted from the East roster. No reason was given.

Yo, Big Russ,
Your rambling lost a lot of credit in the first sentence, referring to the spelling of his name: "... it's Abrey, has anybody ...?"
Actually the spelling of Aubrey Haynes' name is as we had it all along, Aubrey.
His grades (not sure where you got your information) have had little if anything to do with his lack of opportunity to sign with a four-year program.
And the cheapest shot of all is your implication that to ".... end up at a JR college ..." would mean furthering one's educational/athletic career in a community college would be settling for second rate at best or just plain undesirable.
Perhaps you might consider that many outstandng athletes with major physical skills are clearly not ready to be on their own at a four-year institution (and do not misinterpret that to include Haynes), and an introduction to college life and its accompanying responsibilities at the community college level is just as clearly a better step for them after leaving the comfort zone of high school.
In addition to offering solid experience in the arena at the next level, most importantly community colleges also afford a student/athlete an opportunity to adjust academically and emotionally with less pressure, and that alone helps them become even better athletically.
But thanks for posting.
Sorry Friar, No dropping of the ball there, Haynes simply declined the invitation hoping for something bigger! Too bad it would have been fun to see him out there with all the big guys!
Maybe he was waiting for a better offer from another all star game.
My daughter is in his class and its not SP- its Abrey..has anybody seen him lately...fat and out of shape. their is a good chance this has to do with his grades..the same reason no University signed him. At the senior awards ceremony- no more than 4 senior football players got academic recognition and Abrey was not one of them. its a shame- he got a free ride to play ball and was given a opportunity- but he chose not to work hard, SP tried to help him. let this be a lesson for all involved..all that free tuiton- maybe that money could go to the whole footbal program and why not recruit students that have a possibility of going to college and maybe becoming involved alumni.
Don't parents look out for their kids...Don't parents make sure they have grades for college??? Why send your kid to a school and pay about 7 grand and then they end up at a JR college or better yet nowhere.
Why doesnt that supries me who dropped the ball on that SP ?
