Where is the support for SFBL, T&F, SWMNG, TNNS, VB??

Bloggers' comments have been posted concerning the candidates for
all-area player of the year in baseball, but little has been said about
coach of the year, or potential choices for either player of the year and/or coach of the year in softball. Where are the supporters for that sport? And we'll have
POYs and COYs for boys and girls track&field, boys and girls swimming,
boys volleyball and boys tennis being announced in the next two weeks.
Opinions for those sports, also, are welcome. Love all the football
stuff, but don't let it intimidate the rest of you.

Regarding softball ; I believe a State Championship is an excellent idea, Both of our daughters played at El Rancho over ten years ago. Now playing with the possibility of maybe participating at the State level, any player would dream of. As a father I would like to be able to take our girls to a game of that magnitude. The girls who make it WOW! When I go to the football games on Friday nights I open up the football program there’s a message that reads like this ( Teachers have used the game of football “SOFTBALL “ as a tool to teach and build character , self-respect, loyalty, team spirit, and responsibility ). These qualities will take our youth far into the twenty-first century. ( Softball I inserted ) , One more HUGE game would only reinforce those qualities. I’m sure there’s a lot more benefits to be enjoy .

Mr. Murray, The Whitter High softball program has turned around due in part to coaching and dedication of the players, but 2 girls in particular who have given their hearts to turn that program from a loser to a winner are Ariana Atwater and Liz Lopez, I think both of those girls are well deserving of all area honors. Atwater finished the year batting close to .400 while compiling a 8-3, 4-0 in league on the mound and Lopez ripped the cover off the ball all year batting close to .500. I just hope those 2 players are given the respect that they deserve....
