Swordsmen's defense takes a hit
If depth is a problem for St. Paul's football program this season, the Swordsmen suffered a blow when it was determined big linebacker Markus Viramontes will be sidelined after doctors discovered a tumor on one of his toes. Viramontes reportedly will miss from two to four weeks.

marcus viramontes is a cocky player who thinks he can do what he wants if know him you will understand. he would be a complete player if he had the right attitude
by the way hes not the whole team sp can do without him
Ididnt think he was able to play the first 4 games any way didnt he transfer in at week 5 last year without a change of address i dont think he was eligible any way !
SP alum
are you serious!!!! it shows how pathetic you are and just how great a kid Marcus really is, his LEADERSHIP IS SORELY MISSED AT SF, it goes to show what a loser you are and the slap in the face to your program
when SF parents, players, and SP supporters are putting you down, for youe comments and they right these are just kids ,god bless Marcus everybody is pulling for you here at SF (parents and teammates)

some of you people need to relax these players are just kids between 15-18 years old guys like this ass SP Alum "He isn't that good" i hope your kid never goes though anything like this kid.... Markus Viramontes get well soon kid football is fun and a game St.Paul high football players go out there have a great year rock some heads and enjoy these great years SP Alum God Bless You!!!!!!
This young man is a very good player to say the least and I’m sure he is determined on getting well.
We should support him at all times , the word ( Magnanimous ) comes to mind in that we need to feel towards all high school players. So Swordsmen ( Vermonters ) we will see you playing soon! GIVE THEM HELL. On the playing field that is.
St.Paul fan
How would you know if he's better then David Flores at there respective ages unless you were watching 3 years of Santa Fe football games?????
Get well soon MV!
Football is still just a game. I hope the kid makes a smooth and healthy recovery. Any type of tumor is not good.
Are you serious?
He's better than David Flores at there respective ages. It just goes to show you where your own alumni can't even be there when you need them! You should change your handle to something else rather than be a part of our family. Because real swordman stick together.
SP Alum:
What kind of person are you? Here a kid has an serious ailment and you respond with that? Even if he did not have this condition, it is uncalled for you to disparage him or any kid from any team in a public forum.
We should support our team and the kids on the team regardless of ability and results.
When alums or so-called supporters like you say stuff like that you play into the stereotypes people have of the St. Paul faithful and it saddens me that we have people like you supporting our team.
Show some class.
He isn't that good.
