The only moron here is you! First, with your unfounded comments. Second, your inability to stand corrected on anything. Third, you being jeolous of other people's success. And finally, most important your true colors as a football mind. Very sad case! grow up and get over it. Must be one of those alumni's that didn't get the job.

EL RANCHO FAN said:

90601, if you meant LB Poly, Sports Illustrated named them the best sports school in a 100 years. In 2000 Poly won 5 CIF championships in one year (Basketball, track, Pac-5 champs). They have so many championships, who could count? On an average year anywhere from 15 to 20 kids graduate with Division 1 scholarships. Six to eight athletes from football. I read an article from some NFL magazine that the 5 most successful high schools were here in SO CAL, Poly, L.A. Washington not sure on the others, but three other public schools, with more players in the Hall of Fame. I couldn’t believe not one from Texas. Maybe someone read the same article? Please fill me in.

Your a moron. That just killed it.LOL Is that the same pitch Petey uses to recruit? What a bunch of losers now youve proved how delusional you really are. I think Poly might be slightly ahead of SP in terms of players playing at four year schools.

Yo, SP Faithful,
Am curious about the source of your information concerning St. Paul being the "top school in the nation, in producing 4 year university level players. Including CIF, State, National Champs. # 1 in California history."

Big time players lets see, Aubrey Haynes and David Flores! What now fool! If they go to a d1 school from JC whats your excuse? Grades? Youre a joker. I personally talk to some on the inside you are very misinformed. Wow coach Carroll watched film at SP woo hoo what an accomplishment. You are the idiot my friend.

Former St Paul Palyer said:

One big time player......OOOOOOO....Aubrey Haynes, ALL CIF, MVP ALL AREA.....Lead team to first title in 20 something years.....that would attract D1 recruiters? Stay FAITHFUL....SP will eventually recruit another title. LOL!

Can't believe my eyes once again. You are so misinformed it's silly. Where do you get your info from? First, when it comes to transfers do you really think that a principal would deny a kid to enroll? How stupid are you? All the kid has to do is qualify through the rules. And every kid recently has done this. It sounds to me that it might be one of your kids thats sitting the pine.
Second, as for recruiters coming to the school, Can you name one big time player that SP had in the last 2 years? I can't. That may be the reason why they don't come. But I do remember 2 years ago when Pete Carroll walked through the campus and watched film in the coaches office. Is that big enough for you?
Finally, as for coach A, he 's the one who recommened Coach Gonzales for the job! So get your facts straight before you run your mouth. Also, remember last year SP won there first title in 28 years! Ask coach A what he thinks now!!!!!!!

At least you understand what I am talking about and I still didn't get my question answered about players starting the freshman year at SP. Are the ones that do, Starters or do the TRANSFERS replace them?? Just a question. Because What about the kid who worked hard for 2 or 3 years to start and his chance is here and then in comes a transfer to put him back on the bench?????????????????????? I don't care how FAITHFUL you are, if that were your son, you are going to be VERY upset!

He couldn't have thought too bad of him, he was on his coaching staff and his record speaks for itself 6-1 in the playoffs with a CIF Championship in 2 years, I have faith the program will continue to do fine and be the best in the area, as far as transfers go there was nothing wrong with the transfers we got this year

Im glad you believe she is a huge football fan, she is. The thing is you can kiss the transfers, good bye. WHat will happen now that she wont accept junior and senior "football" transfers? Answer that. Do you know the difference between supporting athletics and getting transfers to win at all costs? Of course she will support her student athletes but belive it when she will make sure it is done with integrity and without and violations. I understand you can say that SP doesnt break any violations because they havent been caught. You are funny you say what area players have gotten scholarships 5-6. SP just isnt what it used to be recruiters dont even stop by the school anymore sad. That is what you get when you hire a jr. all american coach. Ask coach A what he thinks of him?

SP FAITHFUL! said:

90603?

Just goes to show how moranic you really are. Tell me how many football players in the last 5 years in the whole area have received football scholarships? I would say no more than about a 6 or 7 total. So when I say "a program has interest" It's the college I'm refering to. Not the High School. Your thought process or credibility hold no weight here.
If your smoking gun is Ms. Barr then your highly mistaken. She is a great football fan. Her son is a big time talent at Loyola. She loves all athletics and supports them. I heard it directly from her. So once again get over it!

Finally the truth comes out, if the program has no interest in a kid you cant sell him? Makes you think, what are they really doing, that is what all the transfers are saying ask them yourself. Apparently schools have interest in the new batch of transfers lets see how many go D1? Will SP be 0-20 in scholarships for transfers the last 3 years? We will see what happens at SP in the long run, hopefully the dot all of their i's and cross all their t's because you are under the microscope, internally. The fall is rapidly approaching, hopefully Ms. Barr will restore the integrity that was instilled back in the day at SP! Lets not forget once a swordsman always a swordsman, is for students that attended the school. Get it right!

SP FAITHFUL! said:

90603

It's pretty clear that you have no clue when it comes to the recruiting process. The coach can never sell a kid to a program that doesn't have interest in him. It's all about necessity at the next level.
As for having connections, wake up young fella! If that was the case, every kid would be recruited hard. It's just ignorance on your part. If a kid is good enough for the next level, he will be discovered! No doubt about it. Especially the schedule that SP has. Playing the likes of Servite, Bosco , loyola, NDame, college coaches watch there games and if someone shines they get noticed.
Do us all a favor and move out of 90603!

Former St.Paul player,

What are you talking about? Why is everything such a huge debate with alumni? Why do people(alumni)always have something negitive to say regarding transfers? What is wrong with a kid that wants to better himself or better his oppotunity for a athletic scholarship? Do you think David Flores(now at Cerritos)would have gotten attention at Santa Fe? I really don't think so. So the debate has no credibility. People get over it!
As for loyalty, pride , it's very obivious that you forgot what was taught at SP.I myself did not go to SP but seeing the traditions and the way the kids prepare for each game is something magnificent. It make me wonder why the big time players like The Willigs,Dwight Tardy,Etc.. and all the other greats have nothing but praise for there school. If you want to make a difference, "be part of the solution and not part of the problem"
Finally as for Aubrey Haynes, The kid had plenty of offers to chose from. It was his decision so ask him. One thing is forsure, he will go down as one of the SP greats with no debate! He stamped his legacy, what about yours?

90603 said:

The people at SP talking bad about kids are the coaches anmeley the head one. He doesnt do anything for kids to get to the next level. Reason being is that the coaches dont do anything for the kids as far as recruiting or selling their kids to universities, he has no connections he sits there with letters on the table when kids go visit the school. Big Deal, those letters are still addressed to Marijon Ancich. SP will eventually fold due to the rent a player tradition they have implemented the last couple of years.

Dear St Paul faithful, yes I understand the disappointment that a four year athlete feels ,but in a competitive program such as St Paul, maybe competition is a good thing. And the lesson for all of us is to be strong and adapt move forward.I apply this thinking every day in life and Iam sure the coaches at St Paul understand this very well, they have proven it to me , And my son who is a must player for NSFS Saints is taught it every day,REGARDLESS!!!!!!!!

Good Answer, Roger.
At the end of the day, alot is said about a way a kid acts or plays but they are still kids who are trying to find there way. They are doing there best and will make some mistakes, as we all do. Let's just cheer on our respective teams and hope all teams play well, stay injury free and leave all of there effort on the field because that is where it belongs.

Roger Murray said:

The last I heard, Aubrey Haynes is at Fullerton college. I find it interesting when members of the St. Paul "faithful," or any school for that matter, enjoy an athlete's performance while he's contributing to a program's success, then become sarcastic and criitical when the athlete moves on to the next phase of his/her life. How about just wishing Aubrey well.

St. Paul's football playoff record over that span: 6-1 (including a divisional championship).

Its not logical to you, because your swordmen benefit! Yours isn't logical, There are factors that figure into a championship team...coaching, DISCIPLINE, grades, as well as players. Most public programs don't have DISCIPLINE, the ones that do, ARE championship caliber or winning programs, those that aren't....the good players TRANSFER to ST. Paul...LOL!
Mind you, all SP transfers don't make it...being UNDISCIPLINE, being a theif, or just not adapting.

ALL in ALL: Its logical from a non-SP view! Answer my question, how many athletes at SP started there as incoming freshman or even incoming sophmores?

Blue Blood,

Are you seriously trying to sit here and tell me that last years team is the same team that went 0-10????? You honestly need a brain transplant Anyone that has any type if common sense know that statement is moronic because no it’s not the same team. Parts are moved on and others have grown with others have moved up from the JV team. There is no way I would ever compare the SF team this year that whipped Warren to the one last year that got smashed and the worst season in years for them. Bottom line is that ER test was in West Covina and they failed. Beating Cerritos and then coming in here and acting like it was some huge accomplishment is ridiculous. Take it for what it is, I win that you should have won my all rights…….and nothing more!

What the hell are you talking about? I still find it hard to believe that alumni like yourself are so confused. Did you see any games last year? They won the Div3 title you moron.
As for transfers, every school gets them every year. Are you for real? Just look at El Rancho. Those two running backs came from SP. Sometimes schools benefit sometimes they dont.
Finally, most important. Why are you so bitter towards your former school. Get over it or do something about it. Its really sad when you cant even have alumni give a full backing when times are down. But i will bet you every dollar that you were at the final game last year with your stupid letterman jacket that doesn't fit. You pig....

Hey Anonymous,
That was also a good upset pick of John Glenn over La Serna. You were right John Glenn's speed, talent and coaching was on display. If they didn't have those three skills they would have lost by 70 points. La Serna is athletic and good and after running for almost 300 yds, I guess that question has been answered as well. Keep spreading the field and make them account for all players on man coverage.

ER showed off their 2 headed monster in the backfield and got a great victory

Whittier came back to win.

LS burke showed why I think he is the best QB in the league

Cal won with efficiency and hard nosed defense

and Pioneer showed offensive fire power but once again a sub-par defensive performance.
