Tech Savy, Yes their strongest! So hummmm, lets play SP or is sf going to be like la serna in the closet or shadow? Lets play some football, one team will win or lose its not going to be the end of the WORLD.You wont have to go far.
like i said this was santa fe test...dont knock them for playing D1 school from the Pac-5...With that said i my honest opinion they are the strongest team in the "del rio" ....
Why didn't anyone get on Campa for picking Cypress and then picking Pioneer as his upset? HHHhhhhhhmmmmmm.....Sounds like a bunch of anti SF people to me!!!!
Its simple people.....they both made their picks to win. Then in picking an upset they went back over their pick and looked at which team might prove them wrong, hence their "upset special" picks. Its just that easy to understand. Its not rocket science ya'll.
Good game SF! You had your chances to win but it would seem along with some missed tackles that your coaches choked again at times. Some of the play calling left some of us in the know scratching our heads!!!! But just as your games versus Orange Lutheran, Edison and Fountain Valley you put Santa Fe on the maps once again behind the orange curtain. Seeing your vibrant crowd was heart warming!
Stay healthy DRL so we can bang it out come league because I know ever with what has happened at ER will that they find a way and will never back down.

El Rancho; Playing without one of your star players. Remember team guts always beat individual greatness. And I know you have it! Keep working. In the long run it’s all GOOD!!!
To elrancho
Difficulties in live are intended to make us better, not bitter.Lets all have heart and stay focus
Don't know if my post went through so I'll try again.
Good game Santa Fe, 21 to 7 vs San Clemente is a good
game from you guy's. Couple that with your blowout win over Warren & something tells me you guy's will be yet another ligitimate threat in our division. Chances are good we [West Covina} could meet up with you in the playoffs, which I think would be a great game.
With teams like Charter Oak, South Hills, Muir, Diamond Ranch, Santa Fe, West Covina, Los Altos, Cal Hi & a few others, this division will be real interesting come November & December.
Trust me you have no clue if you are trying to tell me I am a bandwagon fan, I assure you I attended every game during the 1999 1-9 season, and every game during the 2006 0-10 season, me saying I lost faith is not me jumping off the bandwagon, that is just me being a realist. I assure you I am one of the more passionate ER fans there is. Someone who is a bandwagon fan attends football games only when we are doing good, well we have not done much good in the past 5 years or so and I have not missed one game, do you know anyone else that has not missed an ER game in 10 years?
elracho,
please, we loss and now your giving up then your name shouldn't be elrancho go ban wagon somewhere else, thats the game of football.I'll agree with you about them playing like crap El Rancho could of played a hell of a lot better they didn't use Galan that much in the second half they kept giving it to tate and parea doesnt have the arm for those bombs that got picked off twice. now they have two weeks to get ready for st francis so they better start now. good luck Dons!
El Rancho's loss is not a big surprise. The JV loss to Montebello during the 06 and 07 seasons, including a rout last year. Montebello still gets up for its old Whitmont league rival.
kinda of a bad week for the DRL
Cal beat a quality opponent Pacifica
LS beat a bad team in LM
Whittier lost as expected
Pioneer gave up alot of points as expected, but didnt score much...hmmmm...but Cypress ia great team as well.
ER...wow, Montebello, wow... even "el rancho" says, he beginning to lose faith.
SF...Played a team out of their league and lost as expected but they played good and stood their ground. That San Clemente team they played will be the best team they face this year. Turner had descent game 16carries 89 yards, but if you pick a bright spot it was the leadership adn determination of the QB to bring them back after halftime a try to rally the team. SF was kinda forced to open up the game a little and the QB responded. Also the receivers NEED WORK!

I was at the game last night (el rancho) and I don’t know what happen? I saw fumbles, interceptions and not much Galan But at this point, that game is done, we can’t stay looking back because that stops us from going forward. In two weeks the ranch has a tough game. Let’s get READY!
Santa fe, St. Paul step up and play the better teams the rest of the area garbage. ER vs. montebello are you kidding . ER fans go away !!!
any report on aldecoa's injury... looks like he was the "heart" of that team...
Thats it for me, I think i am beginning to lose faith after a defeat like tonight. No heart at all at ER, complete and utter crap tonight.
I cannot believe that Montebello beat El Rancho!... What happened? I've seen Montebello and they're only good athlete was their QB. Did their Defense finally adjust? Someone please fill me in because I thought ER was going to run all over them.
Good question! why pick SF to lose the game, but have them as your upset of the week?!
He picked Santa Fe to win JUST FOR FUN, but thinks San Clemente will win.
Good luck to all the boys tonight play hard and be safe god bless all of you kids
Confused,
Bc San Clemente should beat SF but SF has a chance thats all...I know what you mean Roger.
anyways here are my picks
Cal over Pacifica- I dont anything about Pacifica so im goin with the local team
La Serna over La Mirada- Burke all over LM
ER over Montebello- ER will miss Aldecoa but we cant see the effects of this til they play a descent team...and Montebello has far below descent
Cypress over Pioneer- Pioneer cant stop anyone
SF over San Clemente- San Clemente is bigger and stronger but its gonna come down to the trenches and I have a gut feeling SF is gonna pull this one off. and if they do IT WILL BE A HUGE UPSET...San Clemente is a perennial DIV 1 playoff team. This SC is no div1 knock off, they are the real deal!!
Santa Fe looks pretty tough this year, but can they do it against San Clemente? That would be a NO!!!
St. Paul all over Cantwell.
Jeffrey Taylor will have a good game.
Is Darius Bratcher playing?
Why did Murray pick Santa Fe to lose but then he says they will win and are the upset of the week?
